It happens to the most well kept and cleanest of houses and yet many people still get embarrassed by it... What is it? Yes, having to get the old pest control boys in.

It happens to us all and yet when we have to do it we hope the neighbours will not see us and that the van is discretely marked. Pests are a fact of life and at some stage in our lives we are going to have to deal with ants, mice, cockroaches or worse.

We like to think that we can deal with them ourselves but at some stage we realise that the household stuff just is not going to get rid of our pattering friends and we need to call in the experts.

Of course, they have seen and done it all before, but for us it is a source of horror! Maybe they think we do not keep our house clean or perhaps they will tell all their friends! Pretty unjustified fears and this is just a day's work to them, there is not much in the pest field that they have not seen.

Once we have plucked up the courage to actually call them in, they dispatch our scaly or furry little visitors with amazing skill and speed and it leaves us wondering why we did not dare to call them in far sooner.
